Principal's Message

Hello and welcome to Santa Fe High School.  It is my extreme privilege to serve as the principal of this great school.  At Santa Fe High School we believe that every student can and will be successful.  We work diligently on building relationships with students while pushing then to reach their highest potential academically.  Our school offers a wide range of opportunities for students to become engaged on campus and hope that every student has the best possible high school experience on our campus.  Our school has received numerous honors and awards throughout the years some of which I will highlight below.

 

Santa Fe High School is honored to be named a California Distinguished School as well as a California Gold Ribbon School, ranking in the top 10% of middle and high schools within our state.  Additionally, we are a Title 1 Academic Achievement Awarded school, received the Golden Bell Award for student support programs, received 17 straight CASL awards for our outstanding activities program and were recognized by Newsweek and U.S. news and World report as one of the nation’s top schools.  Recently, we were revalidated as an AVID school-wide site of distinction and we are currently an AVID National Demonstration Site.  In achieving these distinctions, Santa Fe High School demonstrates that we offer students a well-rounded school program with a strong mix of intellectual challenges and stimulating extracurricular activities.  We also offer a wide range of athletics teams that regularly make CIF appearances and compete at a high level.
