Mrs. Guiragossian [Art One & Commercial Art]

The art students are amazing! We are back in the classroom making art. Semester one we transitioned back into the classroom by creating a series of projects that focused on foundation skills. For the second semester we are creating art works that will be on display at our Art & Fashion show, April 14th. Until then, please take a look at our digital art show from last year.


The “Friends & Family: Art from the heart” Theme was perfect. Many of the student’s projects celebrated their family and heritage.  Commercial Art students calmed down by learning how to embroider and sew a quilt square. They researched and incorporated their family heritage into their fashion designs.


As I look at their digital portfolios, and reflect, I am amazed that they did not give up and they created special works of art, despite the pandemic. Santa Fe strong! The following slides are a sample of the students creations.
